This Chilean Mesquite had completely overwhelmed the beautiful patio area it was meant to shade. The owners had to duck their heads to walk under it. We trimmed and thinned the tree back into shape. The home owners kept their privacy as well as the lush look they prefer for their yard. The tree looks great and because of the reduced weight and canopy thickness its branches are less likely to crack during a severe weather event.
