The owner of this Mesquite tree received a code violation letter from the city of Surprise because the canopy was too low. Surprise doesn't allow branches to be lower than 7 feet over a sidewalk or 13 feet over a street. We removed as many low branches as we safely could to put the tree back into compliance and keep it that way in the future. We hauled away over 1,500 pounds of branches from this tree.
