A microburst hit a neighborhood in Goodyear and damaged hundreds of trees. This 4,000 pound Mesquite tree crumpled during the storm. Newscasters for one valley TV station used it as the backdrop for their liveshot. Fortunately the tree fell into the street and the home suffered no damage. As per the owner's request we chopped up a large portion of the trunk and left it behind for firewood.
